Mas Mascho has announced that the August 2006 Macho Man of the Month is none other than the super macho Udo Dirkschneider. German born, Udo formed the band Accept in 1971. For 25-years they were on the world's most enduring and calamitous heavy metal rock acts. Goddamn they rock!
Dirkschneider, who wanted to pursue more experimental rock avenues, left to form his own band, Udo. By this time he had more female groupies swinging from his mic waist than most rock icons.
In 1996 Udo and the original Accept members reunited one last time. The result was the album Predator. Rock on!
In 1998 Udo and Accept group released their farewell album, The Final Chapter, which contained live versions of his biggest hits. Udo continues to rock to this very day, he will never stop. Let me tell you something...this German stud is mas macho.
