In their attempts to court a more manly clientele, some spas are attempting to pump up the testosterone and attract macho men. Do not be fooled by these false idols.  Males spas like the men's-only John Allan's clubs in New York  will make you a sissy!

With services like chest and back hair removal and manicures, these spas are the secret weapons of a feminist agenda. Ignorant males are lured into an evnvironment that feels more like the first hour at a banker's bachelor party than a salon at Guise in Chicago. 

Ricky del Man, Mas Macho Board Member, Macho Dancer and Director, disagrees. "I go to spas all the time and I am no chichi. So what if I care about my cuticles? That does not make me a pantywaist. I am a very macho male dancer."

Ricky del Man aside, the other spas macho men should avoid include the new Townhouse Spa in Midtown Manhattan and Frédéric Fekkai's new L'Atelier de Frédéric in Henri Bendel. The Mortal Kombat 3 on an antique leather sofa while downing a double whiskey is a crude trick to entrap the manliest man. When you look behind the curtain and the subdued styling rooms, you find out that you must pass through women-filled spas to get to the effeminate section. We say instead of going into the male spa, stop into the women section and have your fill. Don't be a sissy!
