« 10mph 'spnKiX' Motorized Shoes To Go On Sale In March »
Friday, February 17, 2012 at 02:30AM
Ever dreamed of riding a hoverboard like Marty McFly in Back To The Future: Part II? Us too, us too. Unfortunately, they're not available just yet... but motorized shoes are.
Available online at $649 a pair, these 10mph super-Heelys called "spnKiX" and are made by designer Peter Treadway and his team over in Los Angeles.
Financed by crowdsourcing website kickstarter.com, all the money behind the project was contributed by strangers who heard about Treadway's dream online - meaning that buying a pair would make you part of something special. Possibly. Maybe.
