OK, the title's a tad misleading. It's not actually a laser death ray, and it can't destroy planets or make cars explode, but it can set things on fire ... and all you need to make it is a conked-out old PC.

Intrigued? Thought you might be. The video below shows the DIY laser setting matches alight and cutting things in two, all thanks to one intrepid YouTuber who goes by the name of Ray Anthony (or "styropyro" to his fans) and his innate desire to play with lasers.
